Ryan joined Runacres in 2026 as a Broker Support bringing with him several years of insurance industry experience. His insurance career began in 2019 with FMG Insurance in Palmerston North, where he started as an Inbound Consultant before moving into client servicing roles.
One of the most rewarding experiences of Ryan’s career was supporting clients through the Northern Floods in 2022. Ryan took pride in helping people navigate challenging circumstances and ensuring they received the support they needed when it mattered most.
Ryan believes that if there is a problem to solve, the best course of action is to work through it until a solution is found.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing cricket, whether indoors or outdoors, exploring new bars and restaurants with his partner Alecia, and taking walks around Hagley Park. At home, he shares life with Alecia and their much-loved 10-year-old black cat, Rylo. He’s also a passionate supporter of the Miami Heat, his favourite NBA team.
