Brief info
Brian has over 35 years’ experience in the Insurance industry.
He joined Runacres Insurance in late 2008, having previously worked for one of the world’s largest corporate insurance brokers and one of New Zealand’s leading insurers.
During his career Brian has worked in claims, risk management, underwriting, management, new business development and mentoring positions.
Brian enjoys working with clients across all industries, but has a real passion for the trucking, woodworking and manufacturing sectors.
Over the years Brian has helped many clients with technical & high hazard business risks find bespoke insurance solutions that are tailored to their needs.
Brian is an Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Finance, a Certified Insurance Professional, a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers’ Association of New Zealand and a Chartered Insurance Broker. Brian further expanded his skills by completing a Diploma in Leadership & Management through the Australian Institute of Management in 2019.
Away from work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Margaret and children, going to the gym and travelling.
